Julie Robinson
Director ACMA, CGMA, MAAT
Julie Robinson is the founder of Footprints Accountancy, CIMA Management Accountants and Business Advisers. Helping businesses grow is her passion.
Julie set up Footprints Accountancy in 2010 after gaining over 20 years experience in a variety of financial roles in both the business and voluntary sectors.
Julie began her career at Yorkshire Bank, becoming a bank manager at the age of 27. She then moved on to Voluntary Action Rotherham, where she set up the Community Accountancy Service before joining SOVA, a large national charity managing the £11M Women into Work project working with disadvantaged groups, including women in prisons. In 2007, she became head of finance & operations at Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.
Julie set up Footprints Accountancy to share her passion for business with others. Footprints is founded on the belief that there should be more to a client accountant relationship than a once yearly meeting to finalise accounts. Julie and the team forge strong and trusted relationships with all their clients, supporting them in achieving their goals and developing and growing their businesses.

Lorna Pingree
Practice Manager QBE
Lorna is our Practice Manager and is the heart of the Footprints Accountancy team. She has 38 years experience working in the industry and has been with Footprints for 12 years.
Lorna is our glue!! Lorna and her team make sure that everything happens. She manages the office and schedules our work according to deadlines, ensuring that all returns are completed in a timely manner. We are proud to say we’ve never missed a client’s deadline.
Whilst being our Practice Manager she also heads up our Annual Accounts Team.
If you are unsure which team member to contact for various services, Lorna will point you in the right direction.

Robyn Thorpe
Senior Accountant MAAT, ACCA
Robyn is our Senior Accountant. She gained her AAT qualification in 2019 and has continued her studies to achieve her ACCA.
She is our sponge!! She continues to learn not just from an accountancy perspective but also in management and business relations. She is a younger pair of eyes who embraces all that modern technology brings to our industry.
Robyn can help you with limited company accounts and corporation tax. We can also add management accounts, cash flow forecasts, budgets and projected accounts to her skill set.
She is QuickBooks Advanced Certified and therefore a whizz when it comes to QuickBooks Online. She is happy to help you with any training or daily queries that you may have.

Nicola Otter
PA to the Accountancy Team
Nicola joined Footprints in September 2021 as PA to the Accountancy Team.
Coming from a background in customer service, she takes everything in her stride and has implemented many administration procedures, making life easier for you and our team of accountants and bookkeepers.

Karen Wheelhouse
PA to the Accountancy Team
Karen joined the Footprints team in February 2024. Her previous experience in school admissions has been worth its weight in gold.
As our business continues to grow, she is critical to the onboarding of new clients. Her patience and attention to detail is just what is needed when transferring new clients over from previous accountants.

Codie Johnson
Accountant MAAT
Codie has worked in accountancy since 2009 and brings a wealth of experience.
She is part of Carly’s team in payroll and bookkeeping, and will help you with bookkeeping and VAT returns.

Tracy Oldfield
Management Accountant ACCA
Tracy qualified in 2001 and has worked in accountancy for 23 years.
She is our Management Accountant and focuses on producing monthly and quarterly accounts.
This supports our monthly or quarterly meetings where we review your business performance, looking at growth, margins, and KPIs.

Carly Hardman
Head of Payroll and Bookkeeping MAAT
Carly is AAT Qualified and has 22 years experience being responsible for the finance and payroll function of a multimillion pound turnover business. She joined Footprints in September 2022 and our clients have quickly benefitted from Carly’s wealth of experience. She continually looks for ways of how to make the function of bookkeeping and payroll less stressful and more seamless. Together with embracing continual changes in software and technology, she will improve your systems and make the whole function much easier for you.
Chloe Needham MAAT
Bookkeeping & Payroll Specialist MAAT
Chloe joined the Footprints team in 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of Carly’s payroll and bookkeeping team.
She brings years of experience working with small businesses, ensuring accuracy in a deadline-driven environment, and consistently looks for ways to help businesses improve their financial processes.
