Julie Robinson
Director ACMA, CGMA, MAAT
Julie Robinson is the founder of Footprints Accountancy, CIMA Management Accountants and Business Advisers. Helping businesses grow is her passion.
Julie set up Footprints Accountancy in 2010 after gaining over 20 years experience in a variety of financial roles in both the business and voluntary sectors.
Julie began her career at Yorkshire Bank, becoming a bank manager at the age of 27. She then moved on to Voluntary Action Rotherham, where she set up the Community Accountancy Service before joining SOVA, a large national charity managing the £11M Women into Work project working with disadvantaged groups, including women in prisons. In 2007, she became head of finance & operations at Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.
Julie set up Footprints Accountancy to share her passion for business with others. Footprints is founded on the belief that there should be more to a client accountant relationship than a once yearly meeting to finalise accounts. Julie and the team forge strong and trusted relationships with all their clients, supporting them in achieving their goals and developing and growing their businesses.

Lorna Pingree
Practice Manager QBE
Lorna is our Practice Manager and is the heart of the Footprints Accountancy team. She has 35 years experience working in the industry and has been with Footprints for 9 years.
Lorna is our glue!! Lorna and her team make sure that everything happens. She manages the office and schedules our work according to deadlines, ensuring that all returns are completed in a timely manner. We are proud to say we’ve never missed a client’s deadline.
She can help you with sole trader and limited company accounts, tax returns and VAT returns. She is also the one to go to for limited company incorporations and VAT registrations.
Lorna is also our SAGE expert. Whilst we truly believe that cloud accounting and the new modern technology is best for you and your business, it is imperative that we have the SAGE background and understanding to help us move you forward.

Robyn Thorpe
Senior Accountant MAAT
Robyn is one of our Accountants and a Team Leader. She gained her AAT qualification in 2019 and has continued her studies and is part way through her ACCA.
She is our sponge!! She continues to learn not just from an accountancy perspective but also in management and business relations. She is a younger pair of eyes who embraces all that modern technology brings to our industry.
Robyn and her team can help you with sole trader accounts and tax, limited company accounts, corporation tax and VAT returns. We can also add management accounts, cash flow forecasts, budgets and projected accounts to her skill set.
She is QuickBooks Advanced Certified and therefore a whizz when it comes to QuickBooks Online. She is happy to help you with any training or daily queries that you may have.

Nicola Otter
PA to the Accountancy Team
Nicola joined Footprints in September 2021 as PA to the Accountancy Team. This was a new role for us as previously the accountants were responsible for their own administration. We decided that we needed to offer clients and the team more than that. She has been an absolute God send to ourselves and clients. Coming from a background in customer service she takes everything in her stride and has also implemented many administration procedures. She has become our fairy in the background that seamlessly makes everything work.
Carly Hardman
Head of Payroll and Bookkeeping MAAT
Carly is AAT Qualified and has 20 years' experience being responsible for the finance and payroll function of a multimillion pound turnover business. She joined Footprints in September 2022 and our clients have quickly benefitted from Carly’s wealth of experience. She continually looks for ways of how to make the function of bookkeeping and accountancy less stressful and more seamless. Together with embracing continual changes in software and technology, she will improve your systems and make the whole function much easier for you.
Heidi March
Accountant FMAT
Heidi is AAT Qualified and has 30 years experience working in the industry. She has worked in a variety of finance roles to include the voluntary sector, businesses and as a self employed finance professional. Heidi loves a challenge and likes unravelling bookkeeping and accountancy problems. For this reason any business that is a new client to Footprints will initially be passed to Heidi. She will iron out any previous problems and will look for ways to make your accounts easier for both you and ourselves to manage.
Dominic Walvin
Accountants Assistant
Dom has 5 years' experience working in accountancy practices and is AAT Level 3 qualified. He is currently working in our payroll and bookkeeping department working on a variety of clients from the very small to around £2 million turnover. Having worked in other practices, he is embracing our culture of going over and above to help a client and making their lives easier.
Henry Ashford
Apprentice Accountant
Henry is new to accountancy and has had a complete career change from Builder to Apprentice Accountant. That’s quite a leap, very brave. He joined the team in December and has recently sat his Level 2 AAT exams passing all 4, he starts Level 3 in March. He has quickly settled in and we look forward to seeing him ‘build’ on this.

The support from Footprints team has always been fantastic, but during this period of Corona virus they have been just awesome. During the lockdown many accountants have closed and furloughed most of their staff.... And this is when the businesses have been in real need of support and advice. BUT Footprints made arrangements to continue working and providing support for businesses, sending information and advice sometimes even daily, replying emails and returning calls, so that no client is left alone.
